Inspired by the teahouse culture and lifestyle of Chengdu, this project attempts to bring the slow attitude of living in Chengdu to New York City. Chengdu people have a “slow state of mind” and they live each moment to the fullest. As a result, they are able to develop and maintain a slower pace of living even under more difficult circumstances. By providing a toolkit that helps people find inner peace through different forms of meditation, we hope to help people escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and reenergize themselves through simple, yet effective exercises.
No Touch is a paper phone case that helps you enjoy 10 to 15 minutes escaping from calls, mes- sages, social networks, and so forth.
No Sight is a wearable mask, which is easy to make by any paper materials at hand. It creates for you a special isolation moment.
